Any high school junior or senior attending school in Delaware with career aspirations in librarianship and/or writing.
Application Requirements
- Completed application form — Linda Walge Penman Scholarship Application 2023
- 500-750 word essay demonstrating the ability to formulate a well-structured, convincing argument highlighting interests in the field(s) of librarianship and/or writing. The essay must be entirely the student’s own work. It must be typed using standard-sized paper, a universal font (i.e. Times New Roman), and 12-14 point font. Include the student’s name and contact information in the header of each essay page, and double-space the body of the essay.
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher.
