Graduating African American high school senior or undergraduate student.

Requirements:

• There is no formal application, but the requirements listed below must be met in order to be considered for the scholarship.
• High school transcript
• 3 teacher recommendations
• Resume
• Please send all items in one email as opposed to sending individual items.

Application Requirements: Essay, Letter of Recommendation(s)
Essay Details:

Must include the following content:
Why you should be considered for this scholarship
Evidence of community service
Explanation of how you will continue to serve your community upon graduation from college
Be sure to address all requirements in your essay. Provide specific examples and details.

Award Amount: $500-$1,000
Award Details:

Payment is made directly to the student’s college or university.
