Elks Skilled Trades Scholarship

Scholarship Overview: High school graduates between 2018 and 2023 pursuing a certificate, diploma, or associate degree, but not a bachelor’s degree.

Scholarship Details:

The Elks Skilled Trades Scholarship is available to Maryland, Delaware and District of Columbia residents who plan to pursue vocational/technical training in an accredited post-secondary school.

Must be:

U.S. citizens.
High school graduates between 2018 and 2023.
Program being pursued must be one that will culminate in a certificate, diploma, or associate degree, but not a bachelor’s degree. (Two-year transfer programs that will eventually culminate in a four-year degree are not eligible.)

Award Details:

The scholarship winners will receive their award for two years. Ten new winners are chosen every year. The funds are sent directly to the school of enrollment and can be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies, and room and board if the student is living on campus. The award can only be used toward the expenses of the academic year for which it was intended and not for prior student debts. If the student is a second-year student of a two-year program, the award is only for one year.
