Scholarship Overview: High school seniors seeking higher educational learning that will impact their career choice. U.S. citizen, Delaware resident, and high school senior with 2.5 GPA or above

Scholarship Details:

The Brandon Lee Brinkley Scholarship Program was established to provide a financial scholarship award for high school seniors seeking higher educational learning that will impact their career choice in memory of Brandon Lee Brinkley.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. High school senior
  2. U.S. citizen and resident of Delaware
  3. Accepted to an institution of higher learning
  4. Minimum 2.5 GPA

Application Requirements:

  1. Completed application form (online version | pdf. version)
  2. Powerpoint presentation OR essay (see below)
  3. Two reference letters. (Must be in a sealed envelope with contact information and enclosed in the application packet.
  4. Proof of acceptance or an enrollment letter from an institution of higher learning of your choice
  5. Proof of Delaware residency must be provided. Please include a copy of state identification or license.
  6. Sealed official transcript that is mailed by your school, directly to Brandon Lee Brinkley Foundation (BLBF)

 

 

Application Requirements: Delaware Residents Only, Essay, Letter(s) of Recommendation, Minimum GPA, Transcript, Video

Essay Details:

Essay and Presentation guidelines: (Essay format must be double-spaced (250 words and more), Times Roman, 12 pitch font).
PowerPoint on the following (must be 10 slides): “How do you plan to change your world or community today?” or a
Personal Narrative about “What is your gun violence reality?”

Award Amount: $300
