Scholarship Details:
DSEA Retired Association is offering a scholarship opportunity to high school seniors in Delaware public school districts who plan on majoring in education.
Eligibility requirements are that the individual is a high school senior in one of Delaware’s public school districts who plans on majoring in education.
Application requirements are:
(1) Completed Application
(2) Typed letter of interest (accompanying the application) describing applicant’s need for scholarship.
(3) Two (2) Letters of Recommendation from school personnel
(4) Official HS Transcript
(5) Acceptance letter to college or completed application to college the scholarship will be used for (application will suffice until an acceptance letter is received).
(6) Typed essay of not less than 250 or more than 500 words stating why education is important and should be of value in today’s society and why they are choosing a career in education.
