Scholarship Details:
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation was established to honor the service and sacrifice of Marines and their families. That’s why we are grateful for your tax-deductible donations. This need-based scholarship for military children helps cover the cost of attending post-high school career and technical education programs.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Child or step-child of one of the following:
- Active duty, Reserve, or veteran* U.S. Marine
- A Marine killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps
- Active duty, reserve, or veteran U.S. Navy Corpsman, Navy Chaplain or Religious Program Specialist who is or was attached to a U.S. Marine Corps unit or who was killed while serving with a U.S. Marine Corps unit*
- Minimum 2.00 GPA
- Demonstrate financial need through a family adjusted gross income of $112,000 or less for the 2021 tax year
- Attending or planning to attend a school listed on the National Center for Education Statistic’s College Navigator website next fall
* Veterans must have received an honorable discharge.

Award Amount: $10,000
Award Details:
Scholarship awards are $2,500, $5,000, $7,500, or $10,000 per academic year. Award amounts are based on factors including financial need, GPA, and available funding. Amounts are not guaranteed from year to year, and renewal applicants may be awarded different amounts in subsequent years.
All eligible applications will receive an award. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements listed at www.mcsf.org/eligibility and submit a completed application with all required documents by the deadline. If applicants submit their application with missing or incorrect documents, they will be considered ineligible for an award. Ineligible applicants may reapply in future years.
