USTA Future Leaders in Sport Scholarship

Scholarship Overview: Current undergraduate students attending a Hispanic Association Institution and majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Event Management, Finance, Hospitality, Hotel Administration, International Business, Marketing, or Public Relations.

Scholarship Details:

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has partnered with the United States Tennis Association Incorporated to offer four USTA Future Leaders in Sport Scholarships in the amount of $5,000.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Students must be currently enrolled and have completed at least one semester at a 2-year or 4-year HACU-member institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
  2. Must have a minimum college GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  3. Must be enrolled full-time.
  4. Open to undergraduate students.
  5. Open to students majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Event Management, Finance, Hospitality, Hotel Administration, International Business, Marketing, or Public Relations

Essay Details:

Please describe how your heritage, your family, and the community in which you grew up, have impacted your desire and motivation to obtain a college degree. In addition, describe what you intend to accomplish with your degree and how you will give back to your community.
Please Note: 500-word minimum and 800-word maximum.

Four $5,000 scholarships will be awarded for the upcoming Spring term
