Scholarship Overview: High school seniors who are planning to major in engineering

Scholarship Details:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Current high school senior
- Lived in Delaware for one full year before the application deadline
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Demonstrate academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities in the community, in school, or both.
- May demonstrate financial need
Application Requirements:
- Completed application
- Must be accepted into or have applied to enroll in the engineering program of a four-year, ABET accredited college
- 3 references that can be contacted regarding the applicant
- Essay
- Official transcript
- Explanation of financial need (if applicable)
- SAT/ACT score report
Application Requirements: Delaware Residents Only, Essay, Letter(s) of Recommendation, SAT/ACT Score Report, Transcript
Essay Details:
In a essay of up to 500 words, write about an engineering invention, an engineer, or an engineering idea of the future that has inspired you to choose a career in engineering and discuss your future career plans.
Award Amount: $2,500 – $3,500
Award Details:
$3,500 for first place; $2,500 for second place
