Scholarship Details:

This scholarship program awards a $2500 financial award to one Delaware high school senior that personifies high ethics and strong moral character as demonstrated though leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academics.

The scholarship is named in honor of BBB past Chairman Doug Hershman who, for over a decade, dedicated himself to advancing the mission and success of the Better Business Bureau of Delaware. Through his quiet, thoughtful leadership, Doug helped BBB create ways to deliver the mission to the community. He advised BBB on professional challenges, forever reminding the organization to maintain its integrity and to always do the right thing.

The Scholarship is funded through a generous donation by the Hershman Family and is administered and managed through the BBB Education Foundation.

Eligiblity Requirements:

  1. Delaware resident
  2. High School senior
  3. Student planning to pursue any associate degree, bachelors degree, or technical training program
