Scholarship Overview: Scholarship for STEM students to deliver the keynote address at the Goddard Memorial Dinner.

Scholarship Details:
Since 2013, the NSCF Keynote Scholarship gives one student the chance to speak at the the annual Goddard Memorial Dinner and receive a $20,000 scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
- The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students.
- The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests.
- Recipient must be available to speak at the 2026 Goddard Memorial Dinner on March 13, 2026
Application Requirements:
- Completed online application
- Video submission (on topic “Why you are inspired by space,” no longer than 3 minutes)
- Unofficial Transcript (.pdf format)
- At least 2 letters of recommendation from teacher/faculty or professionals in science-related fields*
- Statement of Intent: brief (≤ 150 words) on study/career plans with STEM emphasis
- For finalists: live audition via video conference (5-minute sample over Skype) and preliminary draft of 8-minute speech
*Letters of Recommendation can be sent directly to the Space Club @ info@spaceclub.org by the student’s references. The letters should reference the Keynote Scholarship and the Applicant’s Name in the Subject. Please note, the National Space Club reserves the right to request original stamped/signed copies of the transcript at any point during the application process.

Award Details:
The applicant can only use the $20,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Scholarship check will be provided to the college or university made payable to the applicable college or university no later than June 27, 2026.
