Mary King Memorial Scholarship (Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Theta Zeta Zeta Chapter)
Eligibility Requirements:
- A female student enrolled at Delaware State University or Wilmington University
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
- Must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher
Application Requirements:
- Completed application
- A letter of Introduction, expressing your eligibility and your need for the scholarship
- A brief autobiography– must include information relating to future goals, community service involvement, academic achievement, and memberships in other organizations and/or clubs.
- Two letters of recommendation from any of the following persons:
- Principal, School Counselor, Teacher, Professor or Advisor
- Pastor or Minister
- Any persons other than family members (supervisor, friend, etc.).
- An official transcript from high school or college/university.
Note- The selected candidate must be willing to interview with the scholarship committee and attend the annual scholarship program to accept the scholarship award.
Selection Criteria– A scholarship will be awarded to the successful candidate who is able to exemplify Scholarship, Leadership, and Community Service.

Award Amount: $500
Award Details:
Scholarship award amounts vary beginning at $500 and will be deposited directly into the recipient’s college account in the fall in one payment.
