Offering a $2,000 scholarship for four years.
Eligibility Requirements:
- High School Senior
- New Castle County resident
- Plans to attend a 4 year institution pursuing any major
Application Requirements include:
- high school transcript
- SAT score
- 200-word essay describing your community and volunteer involvement, school activities
- Two letters of reference from your teacher (these letters should expand upon the student’s activities and leadership).

WHSA will announce the winner following the interviews.
WHSA will send the scholarship check to the college that student have been accepted upon receipt
of student required documents per semester during each year of college.

Additional Scholarship Information:
The recipient must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and provide an annual transcript showing the grade point average.
