Scholarship Overview: Graduating HS senior pursuing a bachelors degree associated with fields within the conservation and betterment of whitetail deer. eg: Wildlife/Fish, Conservation, Management, Ecology Management, Environmental Sciences

Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a graduating senior, from a Delaware high school.
- Attend college next fall and plan to major in fields associated with the conservation and the betterment of white-tail deer and their environment. E.g. Wildlife and Forestry Conservation, Fish and Wildlife Management, Wildlife Biology & Wildlife Ecology and Management, Environmental Sciences.
- Graduate with a 3.0 or higher grade point average, based on the 4.0 grading scale, or equivalent based on their schools grading system.
- Involvement in school and community activities.
- Demonstrated their ability as a leader among his/her peers.
- Demonstrated community leadership and/or involvement.
Application Requirements:
- Completed application signed by school counselor or principal
- Essay
- Letters of recommendation from two (2) adults, one of which should be a teacher, School Counselor or Principal (letters should not be written by a Parent/Guardian or other member of the applicant’s household)

Essay Details:
Essay must be typewritten, double-spaced and should not exceed two (2) pages.
Share an outdoor experience(s) that has had a significant impact on your life and/or outdoor experience(s) that will help you to be successful in your chosen field.
Award Amount: $2,500
Award Details:
Two applicants will be selected to receive a $2,500 scholarship to be used toward their college expenses.
Payment will be to the recipients address, after we, Whitetails Unlimited – Delaware Chapter – Scholarship Committee, has received a copy of the applicants fall college schedule. * Schedule needs to be mailed to the same address as the application.
