Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.- Alpha Nu Sigma Alumnae Chapter Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a graduating high school senior accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college/university
- Must have a 2.5 minimum GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrate leadership qualities as evidenced through activities, community service, and affiliations within your school and the community
- Must be a permanent resident in Delaware, Pennsylvania, or Maryland
Application Requirements:
- Completed applucation
- Official high school transcript transcript including cumulative GPA
- Copy of college/university acceptance letter or official Fall 2026 schedule
- Two letters of recommendation (including name, email and telephone number)– one from a teacher/school counselor, and one from an adult (other than a relative or a personal friend), who can attest to your character
- A personal statement that describes your character, aspirations, and experiences. The personal statement should also include how you plan to pay for college expenses. (This should be a maximum of two pages.)

Award Amount: $1,000
Award Details:
The Alpha Nu Sigma Alumnae Chapter Scholarship and stipends are one-year, non-renewable monetary award to be used towards expenses incurred to attend an accredited college or university. The award will be distributed to the recipients in one installment prior to the Fall semester. Proof of full-time enrollment (minimum of 12 credits) must be provided in order to receive the award.
