High School Senior
New Castle County Resident
Plans to attend a 4-year institution pursuing any major
Minimum GPA of 3.0

SAT Score
200-word essay describing your community and volunteer involvement, school activities
Two letters of reference from your teacher (these letters should expand upon the student’s activities and leadership.

Essay Details:
200-word essay describing your community and volunteer involvement, school activities

$3,000 per year for a total of 4 years

WHSA will announce the winner following the interviews
WHSA will send the scholarship check to the college that students have been accepted upon receipt of student required documents per semester during each year of college.
Additional Scholarship Information:
The recipient must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and provide annual transcript showing the grade point average.
Disbursement check of $375.00 per semester for four years.
