Scholarship Details:

The Tile Contractors’ Association of America (TCAA) is a national trade association representing ceramic tile and stone installation companies throughout the United States, who are signatory with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. TCAA established a merit-based scholarship program in the year 2001:

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Applicants must be a US citizen and, at the time of application, enrolled in a CIDA-accredited university or college program, working toward a professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture and for the 2025/2026 academic year must be:
    • In the second or third year of a four-year program leading to a BS, BA, BID or BFA in Interior Design or Interior Architecture; OR
    • In the first year of a two-year program OR the first or second year of a three-year program leading to a MA or MFA in Interior Design or Interior Architecture. The majority of credit courses must be earned in a campus environment.

  2. Official transcript from academic institution from past 4 semesters
  3. Resume
  4. Essay response (500 words or less)
  5. Personal statement (500 words or less)
  6. Two letters of recommendation, submitted with completed rating chart (see below
