Eligibility
A student working for library certification, an ALA-accredited Master’s Degree in Library Science, or a Doctoral Degree.  The successful recipient will be a member of the Delaware Library Association.​

Application Requirements

  • Submit a completed application form — Scholarship Application Form 2024
  • Final transcript from institution awarding baccalaureate degree.
  • Proof of acceptance into a library certification program, an ALA-accredited Master’s Degree program, or a Doctoral program.
  • Transcript of graduate courses already completed (if applicable)
  • Narrative statement of 500 words or fewer, including:
    • Specific documentation citing active participation in professional library organizations, library school activities, volunteer and work experiences, and any other related activities.
    • Personal philosophy of librarianship.
    • Personal future goals in the field of librarianship
