Scholarship Details:

GFWC Delaware is a 125 year old 1000 member strong volunteer community service organization with 21 clubs in Delaware communities and a member state organization of the General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC).

The GFWC Delaware Scholarship for a Graduating High School Senior is awarded to a Delaware resident based on academics, community service and need.  Students must submit a complete application along with a brief essay, high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation.

Application Requirements: Delaware Residents Only, Essay, Letter(s) of Recommendation, Minimum GPA, Transcript

Essay Details:

Please provide a typewritten statement in approximately 150 words answering: “What do you intend to study in college or technical school, and why?” Please attach the typed essay to the end of the application.

Award Amount: $2,000

Award Details:

Two scholarships may be awarded in May 2024 to deserving students in the State of Delaware – $2,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior pursuing advanced education
