Scholarship Overview: Minority, female high school seniors from New Castle County that will pursue a bachelor’s degree at a college/university.

Scholarship Details:

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Rho Zeta Chapter is seeking college bound, serious minded graduating high school seniors for the Katherine B. Ross General Scholarship award. This scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving young lady.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Under-represented minority students (African Americans, Latinos and Native Americans) who are high school seniors (African American females preferred).
  2. Must live in New Castle County.
  3. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be accepted at a college or university granting a four-year degree.

Application Requirements:

  1. Completed Application
  2. Essay (500 words of less)
  3. 2 Letters of Recommendation (one from an instructor, the other may be from an additional instructor, employer, guidance counselor, religious leader, or community leader)
  4. Official Transcript

Please note, you may be asked to interview with the scholarship committee.
