Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a current 5th grade student in the mentoring program at Joseph E. Johnson Elementary School.
- Have demonstrated academic improvement since the 3rd grade.
Application Requirements:
- Completed application*
- Submit a brief paragraph describing their dreams for the future – education or career
- Provide a written recommendation from their mentor, teacher or other school official describing their academic and behavioral progress at Joseph E. Johnson.
*This scholarship either uses a separate application on the DCF’s website or does not use the DCF’s online application at all. To be considered for these scholarships, you must follow instructions on the DCF website to obtain, complete and submit a separate application form

Award Amount: $1,000
Award Details:
One-time award of $1,000 to be used for future post-secondary education or job training. At the discretion of the Delaware Community Foundation board of directors.
