United Health Foundation Louis Stokes Scholarship

Scholarship Overview: African American students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees in a health-related subject.

Scholarship Details:

African American students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited four-year college/university for the current academic year. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have permanent U.S. residency.

Must:
•Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
•Be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a degree in a health-related subject during the 2022-2023 academic school year that will lead to a career as a primary health care professional. For this scholarship, primary health care professionals are general practitioners, internists, family practitioners, OB/GYNs, pediatricians, dentists, public health professionals, mental health professionals, nurses (including advanced practice nurses and nurse practitioners), physician assistants and pharmacists.
•Exhibit commitment to underserved populations.
