Alpha Delta Kappa DE Newton Howell Scholarship for Future Educators
Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduating senior from a Delaware high school
- Citizen of the United States
- Plan to pursue a degree and career in education
- Be in the top third of their graduating class
Application Requirements:
- Completed Application (email fraticelli3@comcast.net for a copy)
- Essay
- Two letters of recommendation
- Official transcript
- Resume that lists extracurricular activities, leadership positions, and honors/awards
Selection Criteria:
- Emphasis for the selection of the recipient will be based on scholarship and leadership
Application Requirements: Delaware Residents Only, Essay, Letter(s) of Recommendation, Resume, Transcript
Essay Details:
Applicant must submit an application that includes a one page essay on “The Value of Education.”
Award Amount: $2,500
Award Details:
The scholarship recipient will be notified by March 15, 2024. He/She will receive both verbal and written confirmation of their award. A date/time will be determined to receive the award.
