Scholarship Overview: Scholarship for current high school seniors and undergraduate students to increase the number of minorities studying agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, and related disciplines.

Application Requirements:

  • Submit an official transcript with the school seal and an authorized official’s signature
  • Submit a signed application (original signature only)
  • Standard scores of at least- 21 ACT or 1080 SAT scores

*All USDA/1890 National Scholars are required to commit to at least one year of service with the USDA for each year of financial assistance provided.

Award Amount: $200,000
Award Details:

Full tuition, as well as room and board
Renewable all four years
