Eligible participants must live in a manufactured or modular home in Delaware for at least one year prior to the application.

Completed application must be accompanied by an original type-written 300-word essay on Factory-Built Housing: A smart Solution to America’s Housing Crisis (Focus: How this approach meets real-world needs and your motivation to be part of the solution), a copy of your high school, GED, or college transcript, and three letters of reference from businesspersons, clergy, or community leaders. Only one of these may be from a school administrator or teacher. You may copy the included sheet for your letters of reference OR attach your individually typed letters of reference. To be considered, the completed application, with essay and reference, must be postmarked to FSMHA by April 15, 2026.
