Scholarship Overview: First-generation, junior and senior undergraduate students attending a Delaware college/university

Scholarship Details:

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Current college student entering their Junior or Senior year at one of these institutions: University of Delaware, Delaware State University, Wilmington University, Goldey-Beacom College or Delaware Technical Community College
2. GPA must be 3.0 or higher
3. Pursuing career in health care or education at an accredited post-secondary institution
4. Preference given to student who will be a first-generation college graduate.

2. 1 Recommender (not a family member)

Essay Details:

Margaret Richey was interested in funding a medical school student who wanted to practice medicine in an economically depressed area of the US or an underdeveloped country. Does this interest you and how would you pursue this?

Award Amount: $6,000

Award Details:

One $6,000 award at the discretion of the Delaware Community Foundation board of directors. Student may reapply if awarded their Junior Year.
