Scholarship Details:

Delaware resident enrolled in medical school with intent to achieve an M.D. College seniors and current medical students may apply. One time award, but awardees may reapply in following year. 

Application Requirements: Delaware Residents Only, Essay, Minimum GPA

Essay Details:

Margaret Richey was interested in funding a medical school student who wanted to practice medicine in an economically depressed area of the US or an underdeveloped country. Does this interest you and how would you pursue this?

Award Amount: $50,000

Award Details:

One $50,000 award at the discretion of the Delaware Community Foundation board of directors. Students may reapply each year if GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher is maintained.
