Acess Scholarship
Scholarship Overview: LGBTQ+ and ally high school seniors who will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Scholarship Details:
The Point Foundation Access Scholarship aims to mitigate obstacles for LGBTQ+ and ally students who are, or will, be the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree and/or come from low-income backgrounds by providing them with financial support and access to leadership and professional development.
Amount: $1,500
Funding Period: Awarded scholars will receive funding for the next academic term. Funding is provided for a single academic term.
Scholarship Eligibility
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- At least half-time enrollment in a a degree-seeking associate, undergraduate, graduate, or professional program at an accredited, not-for-profit college or university in the United States.
- Connection and commitment to the LGBTQ+ and ally community.
- Students who are first-generation and/or from an under-resourced household.
- If previously awarded a Point Scholarship, applicants must have exited their former program with active status.
- Must be at least a senior in high school.
Scholarship Ineligibility
- Students enrolled in 100% online degree programs.
- Students who have already been awarded the Point Foundation Access Scholarship for four terms.
- Current high school students seeking funding for dual enrollment programs.
- Applicants and their immediate family members who have had a formal relationship with Point Foundation as an employee, board member, or volunteer are not eligible to apply.
