Speak Out Against Hate Social Justice Scholarship ($2500 SOAH)
Scholarship Overview: Open to any Sussex County graduating senior who has pursued social justice activities and community service and attends Cape Henlopen HS, Indian River HS, Sussex Academy or Sussex Central HS, who plans to attend a post-secondary college, training, university or trade/technical school in Fall 2026.

Eligibility Requirements:
- High school senior attending Cape Henlopen HS, Indian River HS, Sussex Academy or Sussex Central HS
- Experience or volunteered in social justice activities in their community, school, organizations or place of worship.
Application Requirements:
All required documents must be sent together in a PDF file. Return all to: soahscholarship2026@gmail.com
- Applicants must complete and have the required signatures on the scholarship application
- Submit an original essay (up to 400 words) answering the essay question on page 2 of the application.
- Submit a current transcript (unofficial accepted)
- Submit a resume outlining leadership, etc.,
- Two letters of recommendation – Recommendation forms may be submitted by the recommender directly to: soahscholarship2026@gmail.com. Please put the scholarship name & name of the student in the subject line.
Must be received by application deadline: April 24, 2026.
