Scholarship Overview: Students graduating from a high school in Kent or Sussex County, Delaware, or Worchester County, Maryland with plans to pursue a career in accounting.

Scholarship Details:
The Faw Casson Future Accountant Scholarship are for students graduating from a high school in Kent or Sussex County, Delaware, or Worchester County, Maryland with plans to pursue a career in accounting.
Application Requirements: Brief resume of academic, social and volunteer activities; essay statement; high school transcript; letter of recommendation.
Resume (please attach a detailed resume covering the following information):
- Sports/Clubs – List of on campus extracurricular activities during high school including
any leadership roles held - Honors and Scholarships – May or may not be academic related
- Volunteer Activities – List of on/off campus volunteer activities
- Work Experiences – List employment during high school and summer break
Statement (please address one or more of the following statements in a minimum of
500 words, double-spaced):
• What is your first impression when you hear someone is a Certified Public Accountant?
• Why do you want to pursue a career in accounting?
• How would you describe yourself?
• How will this scholarship benefit you?
Requirements (please attach the following with this application):
• Complete Typed Application
• Resume
• Statement
• Official High School Transcript (must be in a sealed envelope)
• Academic Letter of Recommendation (from teachers, academic advisors, coaches, etc.)
Eligibility
• Must be a graduating high school senior from a high school in Kent or Sussex County
Delaware, or Worchester County Maryland
• Plans to attend an accredited college or university
• Plans to pursue a career in accounting
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
Awards: Up to three, one-time awards of $2,000 each.

Award Details:
Up to three, one-time awards of $2,000 each. The awards are not renewable.
