ECIC DE RISE Scholarships – CDA® Voucher Only Scholarship
Scholarship Overview: For Early Childhood Education professionals who have completed their CDA® portfolio and are working towards their CDA® credential.

Designed for ECE professionals who have completed their CDA® portfolio and are working towards their CDA® credential. Includes:
- CDA® assessment fee
- A $1000 completion stipend
If additional guidance or portfolio support is needed, the CDA® Comprehensive Scholarship may be a better fit.

Eligibility Requirements
All ECIC DE RISE Scholarships require applicants to work at least 20 hours per week directly with children in a Delaware Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) licensed early care and education program.
- For scholarships offering a completion stipend, scholars must complete six (6) months of consecutive employment for a minimum of 20 hours per week in Delaware, serving children from prenatal to 2nd grade and/or their families.
- This six-month employment requirement begins based on the conferral date listed on the DE RISE Associate or Bachelor’s diploma or the credential date on the CDA® Credential for DE RISE CDA Comprehensive and DE RISE CDA Voucher Only Scholars.

To apply for an ECIC DE RISE Scholarship:
- Log in or create an account in the Delaware Early Care and Education Portal.
- Click the “Professional Portal” icon.
- Select “View My Scholarship Journey” and complete the requested information.
- From the “My Scholarship Type” dropdown, choose the scholarship application you wish to complete.
