Bridging the Dream Scholarship (Graduate Students)
Scholarship Overview: 10 graduate students committed to making an impact in their communities will receive up to $10,000 in scholarships each.

Scholarship Details:
The Sallie Mae Fund’s Bridging the Dream Scholarship for High School Seniors helps students access higher education. Since 2021, in partnership with Thurgood Marshall College Fund, 120 scholarships totaling $1.15 Million have been awarded to high school seniors.
- Enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited post-secondary institution in a graduate level program during the 2025-2026 academic year
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
- Able to demonstrate good moral character in all aspects of your life, including personal, professional, educational, in your community, and online presence

Essay Details:
Create a 2-minute video responding to the following:
What unique perspective, passion, or curiosity drives your academic interests? How do you envision it shaping your future as a scholar and leader in your field?
Award Amount: $10,000
Award Details:
The eligible total amount will be funded in two disbursements for the 2025-2026 academic year, based on the conditions outlined in the scholar’s contract.
