Scholarship Details:
Open to female seniors graduating during spring 2023 who plan to attend a college or university in fall 2023. Must attend one of the public high schools in the coastal Georgetown area: Indian River, Sussex Central, Sussex Tech, Cape Henlopen or Sussex Academy.
Application package must include:
Completed Application.
Current transcript.
List or resume showing leadership roles, activities, interests, community service and work experience.
Letter of recommendation from someone other than a school counselor or family member.

Essay Details:
Essay of up to 400 words, double spaced, that answers the questions: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” (Nelson Mandela) Describe a change you would like to make in the world. How do you expect your education will help you accomplish these goals? What obstacles might you encounter along the way and how would you overcome them?
Award Amount: $2,500
Award Details:
Two awards of $2,500 each will be awarded.
