Patriotic Art Contest (3-Dimensional)
Scholarship Overview: Students in grades 9–12 submitting three-dimensional artwork, including pieces made from paper, papier-mâché, pottery, clay, metal, fabric, or similar materials

Eligiblity Requirements:
- Students in grades 9-12 by the deadline who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States, its territories and possessions; or dependents of U.S. military or civilian personnel in overseas schools.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legal U.S. resident.
- Foreign exchange students, students age 20 or older, GED and adult education students and national winners of this contest are ineligible.

Award Amount: $15,000
Award Details:
State winner: advances to national judging (may or may not receive a local/state prize depending on the VFW Auxiliary).
National finalists: compete for $37,000 in scholarships, with $15,000 for first place.
There are multiple awards and award amounts. Scholarships are paid directly to the college, vocational, technical or trade school of the winners choice. Additional Scholarship Information:
Three-dimensional art can be paper, papier-mâché, pottery, clay, metal work, fabric, etc.
Pieces should be no larger than 18” in any direction.
Art cannot be more than 5 lbs. in weight.
Submit a typed explanation of steps taken to create three-dimensional art/artists statement (total of 250 words or less).
Digital art, photography, weapons, 3-D printed art and jewelry are NOT ACCEPTED for this contest.
