Supporting STEM Scholarship

Scholarship Overview: High school seniors or undergraduates with a 3.0+ GPA who will pursue or are pursuing a STEM major full time at a U.S. four-year college.

Scholarship Details:

Established in 2017, the Supporting STEM Scholarship awards one $1,000 merit-based scholarship to a U.S. citizen residing in the United States who is a high school senior or undergraduate student, has a minimum 3.0 GPA, will enroll full time in at least 12 credits at an accredited four-year U.S. university, and will pursue a declared STEM field. Applicants submit five essays of 150–500 words, academic and enrollment documentation, and employment/activity information. A committee selects the winner through comprehensive merit review. The award is paid directly to the recipient’s institution and divided between fall and spring.

Eligibility Requirements:

1.  Be an undergraduate college student or high school senior
2.  Have a cumulative minimum of 3.0 GPA
3.  Maintain full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours or more per college term
4.  Be a declared major in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematic field of study
5.  Demonstrate passion for STEM subjects, strong moral character, and leadership ability
6.  Reside in the U.S. attend a U.S. university, and be legally declared as a U.S. citizen

High School Student Application Requirements:

3.  Four year accredited university acceptance letter

College Student Application Requirements:

2.  Proof of enrollment in a four-year accredited university, examples includes:
   1.  Current and/or future class schedule
   2.  Proof of enrollment document
   3.  Enrollment verification
   4.  Acceptance letter
   5.  College transcripts

* If you are a high school senior that does not have an acceptance letter from an accredited four-year university yet, then submit your current high school transcript and enter your SAT/ACT test scores in the application only. You do not need to provide official scores at the time of application. If you qualify as a finalist for our scholarship, then we will contact you to verify and update any academic information.

Essay Details:
