Scholarship Overview: HBCU-bound and current students majoring in arts or entertainment who plan to work in the entertainment industry.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must commit to or attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU)
- Must declare a major in the arts and/or entertainment field
- GPA requirements – High school seniors: 3.0 (unweighted)| Current college students: 2.75
- One letter of recommendation from an instructor
- Must be a resident of the United States
Application Requirements:
- Completed online application, linked here
- Provide most recent, verifiable high school transcript (Subject to authentication)
- Provide proof of acceptance at an HBCU (Acceptance letters can be submitted through 4/11)
- One 500-word essay on why the applicant deserves the scholarship
- One, 2-minute video explaining your dream job in the arts & entertainment industry and how you plan to achieve the goal
Application Requirements: Essay, Letter(s) of Recommendation, Minimum GPA, Transcript, Video
Award Amount: $40,000
Award Details:
This $40,000 scholarship is available to four (4) students. This award is renewable annually and will be divided into four (4) equal payments of $10,000, over the four-year period. If a current college student is selected as a recipient, the $40,000 award will be divided equally between the remaining years of their undergraduate program.
