Eligibility Requirements:

Open to a Del Tech female graduate planning to continue her education at a college or university in the fall of 2027. The scholarship will be awarded from applicants who graduated from Del Tech Community College. Award will be sent directly to the winner’s college or university for tuition and housing for the 2027-2028 academic year.

Please attach the following 5 documents along with the Scholarship Form (must be typed) in PDF format. An AI generated Essay is not allowed. Photos of the 5 documents below and scholarship form are not acceptable.

    1. Essay two part double spaced that answers the following:
      Career & College Journey
      A. What career or field of study do you plan to pursue, and what sparked your interest in it? (up to 400 words) Describe the experiences, people, education, or challenges that have shaped your goals. How has your community college experience helped you develop the academic skills, work ethic, confidence, and resilience you will need to succeed? Where do you hope to be in your career five years from now?
      B. Why do you need this money? (up to 100 words)
    2. List your extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and organizations including any leadership positions you have held. For each activity be sure to include:
      • Activity
      • Position/Role
      • Duration
      • Achievement/Honors or Awards
      In addition, provide a statement of family and/or outside obligations that have impacted your college experience, if applicable.
    3. List your community service activities, volunteer activities and paid work. For each activity or employment, be sure to include:

      •Achievement/Honors or Awards
    4. Copy of your current transcript
    5. Letter of Recommendation from someone other than an advisor or family member.
