Scholarship Overview: High School seniors planning to enroll next fall in an associate and undergraduate degree program, trade school, or seek professional certifications.

Scholarship Details:
The purpose of the Delaware Veteran Support Association (DSVA) Scholarship Program is to provide a graduating high school or homeschooled student(s) scholarship funding to continue their education. The DVSA scholarship grant is focused on how much you gave back to the community through volunteering over the past two years.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduating high school or homeschooled senior
- Planning to enroll next fall in an associate and undergraduate degree program, trade school, or seek professional certifications.
- Must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
- Must actively volunteer in your community
Application Requirements:
- Completed application- printed or typed
- Essay
- Recorded verbal presentation of essay on a thumb drive (flash drive)
- Proof of volunteer hours- up to 3 letters of reference or other documentation from the organization(s) which you supported
- Contact information for organization(s) for verification of volunteer hours.
Application Requirements: Delaware Residents Only, Essay, Letter(s) of Recommendation, Minimum GPA, Video
Essay Details:
Essay- “How has your volunteering history benefited your community and improved the lives of others?”
Verbal Presentation- Your recorded essay must be between 3-5 minutes in length. (Failure to meet or exceed the limits will result in disqualification or non-consideration for the scholarship.) Additionally, you must save the recording on a flash drive/thumb drive and submit it with your application materials.
