Eligibility Requirements:
- Graduating senior from an Eastern Shore high school (Sussex or Kent counties in Delaware; Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, or Dorchester counties in Maryland)
- Recommended by a school counselor or teacher based on citizenship, work ethic and community service.

250-word essay on the topic: Lessons learned from reading “Back to the Basics” by Johnny Janosik or “Gifted Hands” by Dr. Ben Carson.
