National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Scholarship Program

Scholarship Overview: Students that are pursuing or planning to pursue a post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a U.S. institution next fall.

Scholarship Details:

Must be legally blind in both eyes, and:

Live in the United States, the District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.
Pursue or plan to pursue a full-time, post-secondary course of study in a degree program at an accredited university in the United States in the current scholastic year, except that one scholarship may be given to a person employed full time while attending school part time, and
Participate in the entire NFB national convention and in all scheduled scholarship program activities. Award based on academic excellence, community service and financial need.

Award Amount: $3,000 to $12,000
